Zoning
Presented my idea to the Lyon County zoning on 2.21.23. My home is too small…it must be 580sq ft which defeats the purpose of living small with a tiny footprint. Currently, my home is about 382 sq ft. They also got stuck on the helical piles, which will be the foundation for the home. Hoping we can work through that. They also said “no camping at all. no airbnb, no friends, no personal camping at all on the land.” I cannot believe this is legal….but will do some research to determine what I can do on my own land.
